Now Post-Op Support Bras Are (Finally) Available On The Highstreet

When Facebook user Hazel Dowdall posted a photo of post-op support bras on sale in Dunnes Stores today we thought, 'That can't be a new thing, can it?' But a quick search of 'Post-op bras' or 'mastectomy bras' doesn't return any helpful information, other than to direct us to specialist underwear shops. If you or someone you know has recently been unfortunate enough to need a mastectomy, then Dunnes Stores have a new small range of bras that you might find helpful. Reasonably priced from €20 (as opposed to from €60 plus in specialist stores), it seems like the beginning of something good for post-op women everywhere. Hazel said that she posted the photo as her own mum had a double mastectomy and she has seen how difficult her mum has found it to find any affordable, and pretty, bras.
