Perfect for anyone with kids who hate the scary stuff on Halloween!

Emerald Park After Dark is returning this Halloween, giving thrill-seekers the chance to ride some of the park’s biggest attractions under the night sky.

The event takes place on October 16, 17, 18, 23, 24, 25 and 30, with tickets available now.

There are 13 attractions to experience, including the Cú Chulainn Coaster, Endeavour, The Rotator, Dino Dash and Viking Voyage.

There’s also a brand-new ride joining the line-up for 2026. Swingosaurus, the new dinosaur-themed family thrill ride in Lost Valley: Land of Dinosaurs, will make its After Dark debut.

The 12-metre-high ride sees passengers swing and glide through the air surrounded by prehistoric themes.

And don't worry if you’re not a fan of being scared, Emerald Park After Dark is a no-scare event, so it’s all about the thrills rather than the frights.

The event runs from 6.30pm until 10pm, with last admission at 8pm, and there’ll be plenty of food and sweet treats available.

Emerald Park is also launching its brand-new Mega Monster Halloween event this year, with family-friendly entertainment, Halloween characters, themed decorations, a new Pumpkin Quest and a Halloween-themed live panto.

It promises all the fun of Halloween without the scares and is included with park admission at no extra cost.

Tickets and more information are available at EmeraldPark.ie.
