It is the perfect way to keep little ones entertained.

Sensory bins are typically plastic tubs or containers of some sort filled with materials and objects carefully selected to stimulate the senses. Often used by Montessori teachers and childcare professionals in their classrooms, a sensory bin can be filled with a large variety of different materials such as shredded paper, beans, rice, water beads, water or sand, all designed to stimulate the senses. A quick Pinterest search will yield lots of ideas for how you can DIY your own, and here are just a few quick and easy ideas to get you started: 1. Pom Pom Seed Garden Sensory Bin All you need is black beans, fluffy pom poms, and some plastic buckets and spades. 2. Yarn Kitchen All you need is yarn scraps, kids' scissors and play kitchen appliances such as pots, pans, spatulas etc. 3.
