Lauren Conrad’s baby shower looks like it was an intimate, laid-back affair

Add us as a preferred source on Google »She is the poster-girl for California girl pretty, and so when Lauren Conrad held her baby shower last Saturday, rest assured that the event was just that: Gorgeous, chill and oh-so-California.
In fact; unlike Beyonce's epic and over-the-top push party (which, coincidentally took place on the same day), LC's bash was almost understated in comparison, with not a flashy decor or gaudy attire to be seen.
Instead, the 31-year-old mama-to-be opted for a relaxed afternoon with her female friends, with, from what we can gather from the Instagrams, pretty florals and gender-neutral decor taking centre stage.
The former Hills star posted a sunny poolside photo of herself on Snapchat, wearing a floor-length sundress, surrounded by pals. On the image she wrote, "So lucky to have these wonderful ladies in my life! They spoiled me with a beautiful shower today."

LC herself later shared a snap of the pretty cake, covered in blackberries and daisies – all very Pinterest-worthy (not that we'd expect anything less!)

We don't know about you guys, but we think this chill shower looks pretty darn perfect. The pool, the pretty flowers and the glorious California sun, what more could a pregnant girl ask for?!
