Theo and Jackson were among the newer monikers that parents were picking for boys, while Aoibhin, Nina, Pippa and Esma were the new go-tos for girls.
Girls were given a wider variety of names than boys over the last 12 months, with 4,493 girls' names registered compared to 3,472 boys' names.
