Last week, we were talking about the baby names that have gone out of fashion across the world. This week, the least popular names in Ireland were revealed. The Central Statistics Office compared Census information from 1964 with the most recent one, in 2014, thus unveiling which names have fallen out of favour among Irish parents. Here are the names that apparently weren’t used at all in Ireland in 2014... Fergus Bartholomew Ronald Carmel Ursula Nuala Imelda Dolores Brenda Bridgid Other names that received less than five nods that year include Noreen, Trevor, Cornelius, Kenneth, Eugene, Theresa and Bernadette. Frances, Philomena, Maurice, Eileen, Sharon, Desmond and Audrey also didn't fare well in 2014 despite being popular in previous decades.
