VIDEO: Safe Sleep Techniques to Help Combat Sudden Infant Death Syndrome

Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) is the leading cause of death in infants during the post neonatal period. That is why The Lullaby Trust – an organisation which provides specialist support for bereaved families and works to raise awareness about SIDS– has released an animation to promote safe sleep techniques. In the video, entitled ‘Safer Sleep for Babies’ and created by Juice, they run through a list of dos and don’ts. Francine Bates, chief executive of The Lullaby Trust, told The Huffington Post: "We have created the Safer Sleep for Babies animation to equip all parents with the knowledge they need to ensure their baby is sleeping as safely as possible."
