'Tis certainly the season for festive advertising: Sky Movies is the latest brand to premiere its 2015 Christmas campaign on Twitter, Facebook and YouTube today. Inviting viewers to ‘Step into the adventure this Christmas’, the action-packed advert follows mischievous eight-year-old, Rosie and her Christmas Day lunch dilemma. We won't give the game away, but it took a team of 532 artists, animators, crew, editors and extras, plus over 550 sprouts to bring the advert to life and the adventure takes audiences through some of the famous movie worlds that will be on Sky Movies this Christmas: Cinderella, Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb, Big Hero 6 and Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron. Movies will be shown throughout the Christmas period, with the big ones launching on the following dates:
  • Cinderella - Friday, December 18th
  • Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb – Christmas Eve
  • Big Hero 6 - Christmas Day
  • Marvel’sAvengers: Age of Ultron – St Stephen’s Day
Slipper socks and popcorn at the ready: we're planning our family Christmas movie sessions right now. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3oF9SA25QIg
