People who have secure attachment styles generally have an easier time maintaining relationships in and outside of their families, mainly because they experienced stable relationships growing up.
Those with unstable attachment styles, however, tend to find it more difficult to maintain interpersonal connections due to their own past experiences.
The study showed that the majority of women (50 percent) held babies on their left side, with 34 percent cradling on their right side, and the remaining amount of women switching sides regularly.
It also showed that left-side holders were more likely to have stable relationships with their own partners and mothers, suggesting that they have a more secure attachment style.
The more you know.
