After being discharged from hospital with her nine-week-old son, a mum in Australia returned to her car to discover she had been hit with a parking fine. To her surprise, she also found a note that read, "Hi there, I saw your car had a parking ticket on it. I'm sure whatever you are going through at hospital is tough enough, so I have paid for you." The note, which was left by a woman named Laura, provided details of when the parking fine had been paid, as well as the receipt number. Posting her appreciation on the Canberra Mums Facebook page, the mum said, "After those days in hospital, a parking ticket was one more thing that I didn't need." She added, "I hope that Laura sees this and knows how much I appreciate her support. Thank you so much." It's easy to see why the post has already received almost 52,000 likes and more than 5,000 shares. Monday brightened and faith in humanity restored.
