This Morning has sparked debate by asking their viewers and followers on Twitter if parents are too soft on their children. On Monday’s show, presenters Ruth Langsford and Rylan Clark-Neal were talking about how some toddlers have been expelled from nurseries after violent behaviour and whether the problem stems from home. A survey, conducted by the show, found that almost two thirds of people know a child who has been violent towards a fellow pupil or teacher. A fifth apparently revealed that their child had been violent towards them or another family member. The programme threw the question out on Twitter, asking: “As we talk about the one year olds deemed too violent for nursery, we want to know - are parents too soft on their children?” It received a rather mixed reaction... What do you think - should kids be expelled immediately after such an incident and where does the responsibility lie? Let us know on Facebook or Twitter.
