I'm not particularly fond of spiders and when I see one in the house, I usually grab something and squash it or put a glass over it until himself comes home. But an Irish father has created a gadget which gets rid of the eight-legged creatures without killing them. Tony Allen, from Cork, invented the 'Spider Catcher' because his son was afraid of spiders. The product won the Gold Medal with distinction at the Geneva Inventors Show and is on sale in the US, UK and Europe. Check it out below...
