Eight-year-old girl pens heartwarming note to her classmate

We know, from the good old (really old) days and our kids, that school can be tough. As well as homework, there's also the pressure of fitting in - in fact, it's a bit like when you start a new job as an adult. But the thing that usually gets you through is having someone there who is willing to listen and support you. Eight-year-old Aaliyah from Blackrock, Co Dublin, is that person for her classmate Jack and she made sure to tell him that in a note. It reads: To Jack, Don't worry about the boys in the class bullying you. I will always be there for you. I will always be your friend and I will always pick up for you. Happy Christmas from your friend Aaliyah.
