Malin Andersson will lay her newborn baby daughter to rest today "free from pain."

The former Love Island contestant lost her baby in hospital two weeks ago when the infant was just four weeks old. Baby Consy had been born seven seeks premature at the end of December. She passed away at Great Ormond Street's children's hospital on January 23. Malin said last night that she was preparing for Consy's funeral. On Twitter, she wrote that "none of this makes sense" but that she would continue to "love you unconditionally baby girl."
"So tomorrow’s the day I bury my daughter and lay her to rest free from pain," she wrote. "I love you unconditionally baby girl. None of this makes sense. CONSY-GLORIA." Following her daughter's passing, Malin shared an emotive post on Instagram. It included a photo of her baby being cared for in hospital and heart-wrenching text saying that as much as she wanted to be with her - "your time wasn't ready yet." https://www.instagram.com/p/Bs-GqzYFpKk/?utm_source=ig_embed "Mummy loves you. I stayed with you each day," she said.
"You opened your eyes one last time for me and I saw those beautiful big brown eyes. I’m so sorry I couldn’t do anymore. "Go be with grandma Consy. My angel. Rest in peace."
Malin had named her daughter after her late mother.
