She is not backing down.

If there's one thing Max Branning loves, it's a bit of scheming. Sometimes, it almost appears as if he's non-stop at it, plotting his next way to take someone down or ruin someone's day or see his son again. You know, the usual. However, in last night's episode of EastEnders, Max experience a bit of a drawback in his latest plan to be reunited with his son Oscar... most notably in the form of the return of Lauren and Abi's grandmother, the iconic, Cora Cross. After hearing all about Max's Walford revenge plans from Denise, Cora decided to make a reappearance in the square to try and sort Max out. And he, understandably, was not happy. Viewers were though because they love Cora and they were only delighted by her return to the soap. They took to Twitter to share their joy. https://twitter.com/AndiMcLellan/status/940316699101933570 https://twitter.com/ForeverAYellow/status/940317886958264321 https://twitter.com/Anfunny/status/940317154959691776 https://twitter.com/WalfordEast/status/940318692361023489 Cora, played by Ann Mitchell, has been a fan favourite since 2011. She frequents the square from time to time, showing up to sort people out, tell them what's what, and just give viewers what they want, really. This time seems set to be no different either, as Cora seemed only delighted to be telling Max that he'd never seen his son again. Charming. EastEnders continues tonight at 7.30pm on BBC One.
