The German woman, Annegret Raunigk travelled to receive IVF treatment, despite her doctors advising against it. This week she gave birth to four premature babies, three boys named Dries, Bence and Fjonn, and one girl, Neeta, who were delivered by Caesarian Section this week. The teeny little babies are just 26 weeks old. Under German law, it was illegal for her to receive fertility treatment in her country so she went elsewhere with the hope of giving her youngest a little sibling. She got four! Raunigk now has 17 children and seven grandchildren, and made headlines ten years ago too, when she gave birth to her 13th child, Lelia, at the age of 55.

During an interview in April, Raunigk dismissed critics who said she was acting irresponsibly because she would be over 70  when the babies entered school. But she responded by saying, "You can never know what will happen. Things can also happen to you when you're 20," she said, adding that it's up to each individual to decide when they become a parent.
