If you're sick of shelling out this mid-term, check out these FREE family-friendly events taking place in Dublin this week.   Family Day Design Workshop Where: Design Hub, Dublin Castle When: Saturday April 11, 10.30am-12pm What: Irish Design 2015 offers a diverse range of family day design workshops, which explore the current exhibitions through playful experimentation with materials, techniques and ideas. On two Saturdays of each month young designers and their families are invited to the ID2015 Design Hub in Dublin Castle, to take part in hands-on design – exploring design ideas and processes through talking, drawing and making. These 60-minute hand-on workshops are designed for children of five years old and over with parents/guardians.   Free Programming at the Education Area Where: The National Print Museum's Education Area When: Sunday April 12, 12pm-4pm What: Families and children can discover the creative world of printing at the National Print Museum’s Education Area. Self-guided and encouraging family learning and interaction, activities include arts and crafts (ink stamping, light box picture tracing, stencilling, easy origami, drawing and colouring), alphabet games for the tots, activity sheets and reading from the Junior Library.
