Under-12s to get free admission to all OPW heritage sites

You might be pleased to hear that a number of attractions nationwide will be free for kids from this weekend. Under-12s will have free entry to all heritage sites run by the Office of Public Works (OPW) Heritage Service from Saturday 1 July. This will extend the free admission to OPW sites that children under the age of six already enjoy, making keeping the kids occupied a little easier this summer. This will be "a huge opportunity to encourage our children to experience some of the best cultural and heritage sites in the country," Minister of State Kevin Boxer Moran said.
