The internet is tearing up today.

And we can see why. Yesterday evening, a rowing club in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham, found a note on the gate to the lake where they practice with a message that has since gone viral. In a heartbreaking message which was attached to a rose, it read:
"Please can someone throw this into the lake for me? My late husband's ashes are in the lake and I can't get to the lakeside in my wheelchair anymore and the gates are locked - have to drive back north tonight. Thank you."
The woman in question who left the note never mentioned her name or phone number and so, the rowing club placed the rose into the lake for her and posted an image in the hope she would see it. And since the tweet was posted yesterday, it has been liked over 19,000 times with many people sharing their love and support as well as their hopes for the woman to see the tweet. "Bless you for helping fulfill this lady’s remembrance of her beloved husband," one wrote. While another said: "I hope twitter somehow let's that poor lady know its done. Nice work." A beautiful good deed, kudos to BVGS Rowing.
