A woman and a teenage boy were taken to Tallaght University Hospital.

A Garda investigation is underway following an assault in Tallaght. A woman in her 20s and a teenage boy were injured during the incident, according to reports. The incident took place in the Aylesbury area on Sunday, February 19th. Gardaí believe the incident took place at approximately 9.30 pm. Both victims were rushed to Tallaght University Hospital, but their injures are not believed to be life-threatening. A Garda spokesperson told Dublin Live that an investigation is now underway. However, they have not yet made any arrests. Gardaí confirmed the scene has been preserved following the incident. They stated; "Gardaí are investigating an assault incident." "It occurred at approximately 9:30 pm on Sunday 19th February 2023. "A woman in her early 20s and a male in his late teens sustained injuries during the course of this assault. "They were taken to Tallaght University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Gardaí added, "No arrests have been made at this stage of this ongoing investigation."
