Unborn baby of woman attacked on Dame Street died after assault

The unborn baby of a woman who was brutally attacked on Dublin's Dame Street died following the assault. The woman, in her 30s, was attacked by a man believed to be known to her between 4 and 5am on Sunday, April 25. She was taken to hospital with serious injuries where the baby later died. The Independent reports that Gardaí have since identified a main suspect in the attack. He has not yet been arrested.
