A terrifying video has emerged online showing the effect that drug addiction during pregnancy can have on a child. According to news.com.au, Braxton Jones was born dependent on methadone – the substance his mum Clorissa was using to get off heroin. Other withdrawal symptoms which he has reportedly displayed since he was born include over-sensitivity and feeding problems. Clorissa is now enrolled in a programme for mothers struggling with addiction but babies being born with drug dependency is an increasing problem in America. Braxton spent two months in drug withdrawal before being sent home with his mother who explained: "I know Braxton saved my life... It’s him I look forward to every day."
