Corrie’s Bethany Platt sets mum Sarah up on a date

A new romance is brewing.

Things have been hotting up on Corrie in recent days with Carla Connor and Daniel Baldwin getting it on. It looks like there might be another new couple on the street though as Aidan Connor and Sarah Platt are set to go on a date. In an attempt to distract herself from her own dating troubles having split from boyfriend Craig Tinker, Sarah's daughter Bethany sets them up. She gives her mum a full-on glam makeover and the pair go for a romantic meal. We didn't predict this romance and it's definitely come out of the blue so it will be interesting to see if anything comes of it.
