A teenager has died following a serious road traffic collision in Cork.
The single vehicle incident occurred yesterday on the N25 Castleredmond Midleton, Cork at approximately 1.20am.
The man, in his late teens, was taken to Cork University Hospital with a serious head injury.
He passed away today.
A postmortem will take place at a later date.
The road was closed temporarily following the collision. It has since reopened.
