Take That singer Howard Donald names son Bowie Taylan

Take That star Howard Donald has revealed the name of his newborn son and we reckon a trend might be kicking off. The singer took to Twitter to announce the arrival and name of his bundle of joy on Friday afternoon.

Bowie Taylan Donald came into this world on Tues 12th Jan. Mummy and daddy suffering sleep deprivation but life is wonderful, he is divine

It is not known if the name is a tribute to late singer David Bowie – who passed away on Monday (January 10th) at the age of 69 – but it does seem fitting. When the news broke, Howard took to Twitter, writing: “Feel very honoured that I have a photo of me and jay with david Bowie. When we did TOTP.What a genius and a great loss. RIP”. Little Bowie is the first child for Howard and his wife Kate Halil however he also has two daughters, Grace and Lola, from a previous relationship.
