Ireland's most successful designer has confirmed that she is expecting her first baby with long-time partner this November. The 28-year-old Ranelagh native is thrilled with the news and is clearly in nesting mode, though it is nesting of a slightly more high-octane sort than researching the ultimate pram and agonising over repainting the 'home office' lemon or custard. The award-winning designer is busy showcasing her Spring/Summer 2016 collection at London Fashion Week, moving house AND setting up her first stand alone boutique in Mayfair with illustrious neighbours like Marc Jacobs and Celine.

Not for her a maternity leave of re-watching old episodes of Friends and eating chocolate digestives, she is already planning the shop's window display for her new collection in the New Year.

"And, in between, I have to have a child." she told the New York Times. "So I have to think of all these things now."
