RTÉ presenter Claire Byrne has given birth to her third child

Claire Byrne and her husband Gerry Scollan have welcomed their third child, a baby girl.

The popular presenter and journalist, who heads up current affairs show Claire Byrne Live every Monday night, gave birth last Wednesday (July 12th) in Holles St Hospital. A statement released on behalf of Claire today said the couple have named the little one Emma and 'mother and baby are doing well'. It specialist Gerry and Claire, who married in June 2016, are also parents to Peter and Jane.
