It has been revealed that Charles said five words to Princess Diana - and that was the beginning of the end. Diana had just given birth to Prince Harry, and Charles said "Oh God, it's a boy." Those are the five words. At the time, Charles insisted that what he said was a joke, but naturally, Diana was hurt by the comment. Apparently, Diana knew the gender of her baby, but never told Charles because "he wanted a girl." Diana also revealed how Charles complained to her own mother over the gender of the baby, saying he was "so disappointed - we thought it would be a girl". Okay, rude. Naturally, Diana's mother was furious at Charles' telling him he should "realise how lucky you are to have a child that's normal". After Charles' comments, Princess Diana said: "something inside me closed off", and their marriage broke down a few years later.
