Anyone who owns the rattle should cease use immediately.

Stores in Ireland have issued a recall of a baby rattle due to safety concerns. Both Tesco and Smyths Toys have recalled the Clementoni Blooming Flower Rattle as a precautionary measure for a potential choking hazard. A safety notice from Tesco states that a white decoration on the front of the toy may detach, which babies could then choke on. Tesco customers can return it to their nearest store with or without a receipt to receive a full refund. A notice from Smyths warns parents against allowing children to use the same product. The retailer's statement reads: "Stop using the product. Do not allow children to use it. "Please return your product to your local Smyths Toys Superstores for a full refund. Find your nearest store using our Store Finder. Please bring a screenshot or copy of your receipt with you."
