Mum Tells Son That He Is Cancer-Free in Viral Video

A mum has captured the moment that she told her son that he is cancer-free in a video that has now gone viral. Casi Morris from Bartlesville recorded the moment that she broke the news to her son Ben and uploaded it to YouTube. In the caption, she wrote:

“After 1,167 days of treatment, Ben got the news that his bone marrow showed no signs of cancer and he will be able to end treatment in 34 days (July 5, 2016).”

In typical kid style, the seven-year-old’s main worry is whether he will still get to go to camp. The video ends with an inspirational quote from Jim Beaver which reads:

“Today we fight. Tomorrow we fight. The day after, we fight. And if this disease plans on whipping us, it better bring a lunch, ‘cause it’s gonna have a long day doing it.”
