Mum Arrested In US After ‘Sitting On Her 2-Year-Old Son’s Head’

A woman in Georgia has been arrested after police claimed she sat on her 2-year-old son’s head. According to a number of US publications, Susan Elizabeth Kelley allegedly placed a towel on a wooden chair before placing her son’s head on the towel and sitting on him. The Atlanta Journal Constitution obtained the arrest warrant which said: "The accused sat on the child's head, with full body weight, for approximately one hour in an attempt to gain 'submission' from the child." The toddler reportedly had to be rushed to hospital after becoming unresponsive. He suffered physical injuries but is thankfully expected to make a full recovery. Kelley was arrested and charged with a felony count of child cruelty after the incident, which happened earlier this month. She was released on bond on Monday.
