Does the term 'bikini body' make your skin crawl? If so you'll be glad to know that Women's Health magazine has banned it from its front page, after inviting reader feedback on social media.  One of the largest health publications in the US, with a circulation of 1.5 million copies, Women's Health vowed to leave 'shaming' terms firmly in 2015. wh The age-old favourite, 'Drop two dress sizes' has also been canned, with Editor-in-chief, Amy Keller Laird promising: "Since our goal is always to pump you up, and never to make you feel bad, here’s our pledge: They’re gone," The magazine's new focus will be on 'strong and sexy', something that's likely to please comedian Amy Schumer, whose hilarious and empowering tirade against it was widely applauded last year.

The performer and TV star has long blasted women's publications, which she believes 'pit women against each other.' Speaking about Women's Health in particular, Schumer said:
"That f*cking magazine. It should be called, ‘Women’s Eat Just Enough to Stay Alive, Maybe.’ I did an interview with them, because I forgot. And they were like, ‘How can women get better confidence?’ I was like, ‘By not reading your magazine.’"
