In the wake of 'Gorillagate' in recent weeks after the unfortunate fall of a curious child and the death of Haramba, comes another unbelievable video of questionable activity from a wild animal that has been caged. Heart-stopping footage from an onlooker shows a lion charging at a little boy with his back turned in a Tokyo zoo and stopped in its tracks by the protective glass. According to CQ News, the lion, who weighs a whopping 185kg was only stopped in its tracks by heavy glass. The Zookeepers have insisted the lion was only trying to play and that he always reacts this way when he sees young children. Hmmm. We're not so sure. Animal rights campaigners have also spoken out, stating that the video highlights why keeping wild predators in captivity is cruel and dangerous. Have a look for yourselves, do you think the lion looks like he was about to pounce or play?! We know what we see, and it's probably not a kitty cat looking for a little rough and tumble. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dD8akF8pDm0
