How cool are these Lego women of the Supreme Court? 2015-03-13 10_40_49-Legal Justice League by pixbymaia _ Flickr - Photo Sharing!2015-03-13 10_44_20-Legal Justice League library by pixbymaia _ Flickr - Photo Sharing! 2015-03-13 10_42_25-Legal Justice League - Women of SCOTUS by pixbymaia _ Flickr - Photo Sharing! Created by Maia Weinstock, the set of custom-designed Lego minifigures represent three women who currently sit on the Supreme Court in America - Sonia Sotomayor, Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Elena Kagan - plus the first woman ever to join the court, Sandra Day O'Connor. The replica "aims to celebrate the accomplishments of women in the legal realm, and to encourage girls and women to work toward high positions in the US judicial system," says Maia. Unfortunately, they won't be available for purchase anytime soon. Maia explains on her website that the set was submitted to Lego Ideas, but was rejected by the company for going against their "no politics or political symbols" rule. Let's hope the decision is overturned soon.
