 What a lovely moment.

The Late Late Toy Show took place last night, capturing hearts across the nation with its spectacular The Greatest Showman theme. But there was one particularly heartwarming moment that tugged on viewers' heartstrings: when Ryan introduced cousins Scott and Grace Lowe. In fact, many took to Twitter to admit that the segment left them in tears. https://twitter.com/FintanMusic/status/1068654485445189633 https://twitter.com/ClareSaSpeir16/status/1068654435906318338 https://twitter.com/GmailMahony/status/1068653933726449666 https://twitter.com/cozzy279/status/1068653194396487680 https://twitter.com/pilatesplusdub/status/1068654877860134912 This time last year, six-year-old Grace was undergoing  bone marrow treatment for leukaemia. Her first cousin, eight-year-old Scott, gave her the bone marrow transplant. [caption id="attachment_438721" align="alignnone" width="4368"] Picture: Andres Poveda / RTÉ[/caption] Scott's mum, Arlene, explained that the pair are "best friends" as she spoke about how he found out he was a match. She explained:
"They're double cousins, so they don't normally test other members of the family. Bern. Grace's other siblings weren't a match."
Ryan brought out the pair of cousins, where he spoke to Scott about how he felt about undergoing the treatment. [caption id="attachment_438720" align="alignnone" width="4368"] Picture: Andres Poveda / RTÉ[/caption] The eight-year-old said:
"I wanted to save her life. "I was scared going in for an operation. I felt really happy (that I saved her life)."

"This is a real life hero right here. What you have done, you are the real hero. We are really proud of you."
The Irish rugby team also gave him and Grace tickets to their Six Nations game against France. Scott was also invited to an exclusive training session, and given an Irish jersey signed by the team.
