Kourtney Kardashian shares snap of her four-year old with a lip ring and fans are freaking out

It is a beautiful snap of mother and daughter.

But fans noticed an accessory on four-year-old Penelope pictured sleeping beside her mum and they were not happy. The reality star shared the controversial picture of her daughter on social media with the caption "Our Oscar Sunday. Yes, that's a lip ring. Thanks @kimkardashian" The photo appears to show a piercing on little Penelope's mouth and although it is most likely a clip on or false ring - followers were quick to point out that it is inappropriate:

"Why don't you just add a belly button ring too," said one follower. Another said: "Ridiculous how can you give it to such a little girl" Others pointed out that even if it wasn't real, a little girl shouldn't be wearing one. What do you think? Inappropriate or simply a bit of fun?
