Karen Clifton had the BEST reaction to ex Kevin winning Strictly with Stacey Dooley

Go on the lads.

Last night, Kevin Clifton and Stacey Dooley were crowed the winners of Strictly Come Dancing 2018. It was a deserved triumph as the pair impressed the judges week-on-week without fail with their stunning dancing skills and their ability to not have an affair despite being paired together on Strictly Come Dancing.  Massive congrats to all involved. Over the course of this year's series, Kevin's relationship status was a considerable talking point due to his split from fellow professional dancer Karen Clifton. Despite this, the pair remained civil, and essentially friendly, for the entirety of the show. It would make sense then that Karen would be absolutely delighted to see her ex win the programme and wouldn't harbour any resentment whatsoever, because she is an adult, and also because the whole of the UK and Ireland is watching. Last night, when Kevin and Stacey's win was announced, Karen was the first to rush to Kevin to give him a big old congratulatory hug. Bless. So wholesome. So nice. So much proof that you can end a romantic relationship with somebody and still respect them as a person and champion their achievements and just be generally nice to each other. This is the first time that Kevin has won Strictly as a professional dancer. The triumph comes after word that he was planning on quitting the show next year.  Clifton has since vehemently denied these claims online saying that he's not going anywhere.
