Irish rugby star CJ Stander and wife Jean-Marie are expecting their first child

A massive congratulations to the pair.

Yesterday, Irish rugby player, CJ Stander took to Instagram to announce some big news on Valentine's Day.

Sharing a sweet snap in which he poses alongside his wife, Jean-Marie and their dogs, the star wrote:

"On this Valentine's Day there is no better time to say, our hearts have been stirred... for this child we‘ve prayed & our prayers have been heard...with gratitude & excitement we can say there is a Stander baby on the way! ❤️#werepregnant #StanderBaby"

This will be the first child for the pair who got married in 2013, with the due date set for this summer. Jean-Marie too shared the same post, with family, friends and some well-known faces sharing their congratulations for the pair. A very exciting time!
