Hackers have hijacked the website of pro-life group Youth Defence and have replaced their homepage with an image by artist Joe Caslin promoting the Yes Vote in the upcoming marriage equality referendum. Users of Youth Defence.ie this morning were greeted with an image of Caslin's mural recently completed on the side of a building on Dublin's Georges St. that shows two men in an embrace. The website's title in the tab on the browser bar also read Vote Yes. Screen Shot 2015-04-16 at 09.54.55 Youth Defence's statement on their Facebook page is "We are Ireland's largest and most active pro-life group and we work to keep abortion out of Ireland." They have participated in the campaign against government proposals to legalise abortion. Main image via @johnmahondublin
