Ireland is hotter than SPAIN right now (but hurry outside, because it won’t last long)

The sun is splitting the stones across Ireland right now and the good news is; it's getting warmer, with temperatures due to top a toasty 17C by later this afternoon.

Mother's Day 2017 is set to be the warmest of the year so far; ideal for that Sunday stroll after a long lunch.

Meanwhile, folks in Barcelona are tucking into their Sunday tapas in 12C sunshine and it's a measly 9C in Madrid. Enjoy it while you can though (get outdoors and soak up all that mood-boosting Vitamin D) because light showers will worsen to long spells of rain later in the week.
