We're shivering already.

After a storm-heavy February, March has gotten off to a chilly start - and the next few days are set to be no different. Met Éireann is forecasting lows of -3 degrees tonight with widespread frost and ice forming across the country. Thursday will be just as grim with highs of five to eight degrees during the day, eventually collapsing into lows of -2 at night. Again, wintry showers are to be expected, as well as ice on the ground. While Friday night will also see lows of zero (which isn't quite as bad as less than zero), things are expected to pick up a little bit on Saturday, when a much-needed "warm front" is set to come our way. Despite persistent rain throughout the day, temperatures will rise to highs of 10 to 13 degrees and the rain will clear by the evening. Sunny spells are also being forecast for Sunday. Is our luck finally going to turn? Probably not, but at least it might be a little bit milder than the past few weeks.
