Gardaí are to begin excavating the back garden of a house in South Dublin amid allegations of infant homicide. According to UTV Ireland, a woman, now 53, came forward and claimed she was abused as a child by a paedophile ring between 1966 and 1977. She also claims that she gave birth to two babies - the first at age 12, the second two years later - and that they were murdered and buried in the garden. The next stage of the six-month investigation is a major excavation of the garden by the National Bureau of Criminal Investigation. This is reportedly due to commence next week and could take up to three weeks.
