You might want to think again about Buddy’s intentions in the movie Elf

OK, we're kinda turned off it now.

Thanks to a fan theory that has resurfaced online, we're having second thoughts about the movie Elf. Yes, it seems all good-willed and fun-filled, but what you're about to read seriously puts a twist on things. BatFan54 on Reddit takes us to the point in the film where Zooey Deschanel's character, Jovie, is singing in the shower. Buddy, being the inquisitive elf that he is, hears her singing a Christmas song and goes to investigate. However, when Buddy finds Jovie, she's naked and (obvs) tells him to leave. We all laugh along because haha, the elf doesn't know what a shower is. But that's when it all goes downhill. BatFan54 writes: "Buddy does know what a shower is, and he most certainly knew she was naked! "Buddy, the sicko as he is, was actually trying to peep on Zooey while she was in the shower. "And played his sick fetish off as innocence and just wanted to sing a Christmas song." OK, then. Goodbye Elf... it was nice knowing you.
