Corrie star Lucy Fallon reveals her son’s unusual name

She gave birth to her baby boy in January.

Coronation Street star Lucy Fallon has welcomed her first child. The mum gave birth to a baby boy on January 30th but has just revealed his name. The actress decided to call her son Sonny Jude. Lucy Fallon said there were a lot of names she loved, but her partner Ryan wasn't a fan of them, especially the more outrageous ones. She told OK!  "I kept adding names to a list. I liked a lot of names that Ryan didn't. Some were a bit out there, like 'Fox'." Ryan said he didn't want to give their son a quirky name. "When you’re from Liverpool, there was just no chance - he would get ribbed non-stop. "As the weeks were going on in the pregnancy, we were calling him Sonny." Baby Sonny is the couple's first child. Lucy has been dating footballer Ryan Ledson since 2020. The couple got pregnant in 2022 but sadly suffered a miscarriage. The actress revealed she suffered a miscarriage in March 2022. The soap star was around 7 weeks pregnant when she lost her baby. The actress found out the heartbreaking news during her 7-week scan. Lucy said she was both nervous and excited to share her news following her loss. She told OK! "We've been keeping it a secret. I'm scared but also excited."
