Kathryn Thomas announces the birth of her second daughter

It's a girl!

Kathryn Thomas has revealed that she and her partner Pádraig welcomed their second child together, a baby girl, on Tuesday. The presenter took to Instagram to announce the birth of her "gorgeous girl", named Grace Anne McLoughlin. Little Grace was born at 11.35am, weighing in at 8lbs 3oz. "Everyone is great. Baby sleeping. Mama knackered," Kathryn wrote alongside a black and white photo of tiny toes. She then went on to thank the doctors, nurses and midwives at the Coombe, whose care she was "blown away" by. "Nothing but incredible care, reassurance and even a bit of craic to keep you sane in those anxious moments… you are all wonderful," she continued. She also thanked the team at Merrion Fertility Clinic for helping to make the couple's "dreams of family a reality." Kathryn and Pádraig are already parents to Ellie, born in 2018.
