Sixty per cent of girls say that the female emojis that are available are too limiting and not representative of them. Always conducted a survey which found that young women believe that the symbols they put in their messages are restrictive and reinforce societal limitations. And they’re not the only brand who want more realistic emoji options. Bodyform have launched six symbols to encourage a more open discussion about periods.
