Emmerdale fans in tears as three characters leave the village

Emmerdale fans said goodbye to three characters last night - as Ross Barton, Rebecca White and her baby son, Seb, set off for a new life.

Ross and Rebecca had spent the last few episodes planning to start a new life together, while fighting for custody for Ross' son, Moses, and little Seb. Thursday's episode saw Rebecca have a heartbreaking change of heart at the last minute, urging Ross to delay the move for a little while. But he refused, and readied to leave the village on his own. Last night, Rebecca was still crushed over the idea of Ross leaving without her when Robert paid her a visit.
