They were not impressed.

EastEnders fans took to Twitter to air their frustrations this weekend after the portrayal of social workers on the soap left them less than impressed. On Friday night, Carmel realised that her decision to report Stacey to social services was wrong as the bruises on baby's Arthur's arm had not been caused by the mum at all. However, Carmel discovered her mistake too late. The grandmother was forced to watch as a social worker and two police officers showed up during a family dinner to take Stacey's children away.
