The latest character to join the cast of EastEnders has been revealed.

Ricky Champ will appear on the soap as Stuart Highway, the older brother of returning character Halfway. You might recognise Ricky from his role as Gatins, a rogue member of the Brotherhood Without Banners in Game of Thrones. He's also known for appearing in BBC3 sitcom Him & Her as Paul. "I’m so happy to be part of this brilliant team of people on this great show that I grew up watching," Ricky has said. "Look out Albert Square … Stuart’s coming!" As it turns out, Stuart is  actually a childhood friend of Mick Carter - but was something of a bad influence on him. He turns up in the Square following Halfway’s return from duty. Mick will be pleased to see his old friend but his arrival could mean trouble for Mick as the two lads channel their younger selves and get up to no good - probably the last thing Mick needs. The news comes after it was previously announced that Tony Clay will be reprising his role as viewer favourite Callum 'Halfway' Highway. Stuart has already started filming and will be on screen later this spring, EastEnders bosses have said.
