Disney Announces 9 New Live-Action Films

All parents know that Disney is an institution and these days, it seems to be going from strength to strength with even more live-action films planned. According to Variety, there are 9 new movies in the pipeline including Cruella (a 101 Dalmatians spin-off starring Emma Stone) and a Maleficent sequel.

After the success of the Jungle Book remake, a second film has been planned involving director Jon Favreau and writer Justin Marks. The company also confirmed that it is moving forward with an adaptation of Madeleine, The Nutcracker and the Four Realms as well as a Tinker Bell project with actress Reese Witherspoon Mary Poppins is another classic that is getting a makeover with the help of Emily Blunt while Tim Burton is set to direct a new version of Dumbo. via GIPHY
